Ali Arshad
Horticulturist
Hailing from India, Ali has a Masters Degree in Horticulture Science, obtained in 2003 from Marathwada Agricultural University. He joined Green Mek Landscapes & Irrigation shortly thereafter where his responsibilities included client consultation, softscape installation & maintenance, and pest & disease control.
Ali joined Sousa’s in August 2004 as a Horticulturist. He initially began working at Sousa’s Gardens where he assisted in plant propagation & care, pest & disease control, and product sales. He was then promoted to Horticultural Maintenance Coordinator and his responsibilities included client consultation, and softscape installation & maintenance of commercial, resort, and residential properties.
Ali attended Green Industry Conferences with a team from Sousa’s and passed courses in the Principles of Turfgrass Management and received a certificate as a Certified Turfgrass Professional, through the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) in the United States. |
