Paul Genua
Vice President of Landscape Management
Paul is a twenty eight year landscape professional whose history has gifted him with talents in multiple vocations under the umbrella of the landscape industry. He has a double degree in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture from The University of Connecticut.
Upon graduation Paul already had 12 years of management experience in high end residential and commercial landscape property management and construction. He and his wife April have spent their time traveling and working in CT, NY, PA, GA, SC and CO in the US. During this time he was able to branch off of typical landscape work to further build his talents.
In PA and NY Paul worked in project management building golf courses. In GA he was a project manager working for landscape architects who build entrance monuments and recreation areas for sub-divisions. From recreation area construction he was able to get involved in custom concrete swimming pool construction. Paul ran a commercial swimming pool division in SC for a Master Pools Guild member and then started a commercial swimming pool division for a landscape architect in GA. In CO, he owned his own landscape install business working on high end ski vacation and retirement homes.
Paul’s life philosophy is to “bring honesty and integrity to the job every day.” His type “A” personality has, allowed him to integrate well with everyone he comes in contact with, and has given him a constant desire to deliver for the people around him; owners, employees and clients.
Paul enjoys all sports including biking, rollerblading, hiking, camping, golfing, fishing and ice skating. He is also an accomplished snow skier, and enjoys attending concerts and traveling with his wife April. Paul is looking forward to the Bermudian lifestyle and the challenge of growing Sousa’s in new and exciting ways. |
